Summer and sunshine are on their way, and with them, a wide variety of amazing events! Be sure to mark your calendars for these fun, upcoming events in Little Falls, MN. You won’t want to miss them!

Up-Close Programs

Get ready to explore the MN Military Museum all summer long with their Up-Close Programs. These programs are free, family-friendly public programs exploring the museum’s macro artifacts (tanks, helicopters, and more!) up close. Each program will be facilitated by veterans and experts who know the equipment well. The programs will be held outdoors on May 25th, June 29th, July 27th, and August 31st, 2024. During the programs, there will also be a used-book sale with topics ranging from the Civil War to the present day.

Charmed Ride

The 11th Annual Charmed Ride event is a summer long event where kids ages 18 years and younger can go around to participating businesses to collect free bike charms. After collecting all of the charms, kids can then enter for a chance to win a bike! This event is a great opportunity for families to come together and enjoy a fun-filled day of adventure on two wheels. Not only will you get to ride your bike and enjoy the great outdoors, but you’ll also get to discover local businesses and learn more about the community.

Little Falls Dam Festival

The 21st Annual Little Falls Dam Festival is the best dam festival in Minnesota! Take a stroll along the banks of the Mississippi River and admire the view of the Little Falls dam all while taking part in the fun and festivities at Maple Island park on June 14th and 15th, 2024. Enjoy the summer heat with various activities, delicious food, live music, bounce houses, artisan vendors, and a parade and fireworks on Saturday!

Morrison County Fair

The annual county fair is one you won’t want to miss! From June 20th -22nd, the Morrison County Fairgrounds is buzzing with endless fun games, activities, and booths to check out. Bring your friends and family to go on rides, view animals in the Livestock Show Arena, play bingo, listen to live music, check out displays and booths, explore the many educational kids activities, and watch special events in the grandstand! This year, the grandstand will have the Tuff Truck & Car Competition, Truck Pull, and Demolition Derby.

Green Fair Folk Festival

The Green Fair Folk Festival is another annual event that is free to attend and family-friendly. This year the event will take place on August 7th from 4-8 p.m. at the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls. This event promotes a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. There’ll be over 70 exhibitors featuring organic foods, renewable energy, recycled/green art, fashion, eco-gifts, earth-friendly products, holistic health, and more!
