FREE SUMMER CONCERT
St. Francis Music Center will present singer/songwriter Andy Spofford in an outdoor concert on Tuesday, August 2. The concert will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on the lawn of the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls, 116 8th Avenue Southeast.
Andy Spofford is a Minnesota musician who has been playing live music for the past 25 years. Along with music, he has been a teacher and coach for 14 years. He is currently on a leave from teaching to pursue a music career. Andy plays a wide variety of country, rock, pop and original music—everything from Johnny Cash and Garth Brooks to Matchbox 20 and Bruno Mars.
Opening the concert will be the St. Francis Summer Orchestra, Jean’s Tambourine (a senior ukulele group) and the St. Francis Percussion Ensemble. All groups feature faculty and students from St. Francis Music Center.
To celebrate National Night Out there will be police cars, firetrucks and more from our community helpers. Kids can check out all the vehicles and meet the heroes that keep our communities safe.
Pack a lunch and bring your own chairs or a blanket to sit on and enjoy this free community concert open to all! For more information, please contact St. Francis Music Center at (320)632-0637 or email info@sfmusiccenter.org.
