Welcome to Magic: The Gathering Commander Night! Whether you’re a seasoned planeswalker or new to the world of Magic, this is the perfect opportunity to dive into the exciting format of Commander (also known as EDH).
What is Magic: The Gathering? Magic: The Gathering (MTG) is a strategy card game where players assume the roles of powerful wizards, known as Planeswalkers, who battle each other using decks of cards representing spells, creatures, and artifacts. The game combines strategic deck-building with tactical gameplay, offering a rich and dynamic experience.
What is Commander? Commander is a popular format within MTG that emphasizes creative deck-building and fun, casual play. Each Commander deck is built around a legendary creature or planeswalker, known as the “Commander,” and contains exactly 100 cards, including a diverse mix of spells and creatures. The unique deck-building rules and the emphasis on multiplayer games make Commander a fantastic way to enjoy MTG with friends.
