Franciscan Sisters’ Advent Day of Reflection

Join the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls for an Advent Day of Reflection Saturday, December 2, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. 116 8th Ave SE, Little Falls, MN.

Advent: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow will explore what it means that Jesus came to earth and lived as a human. Presenter Sister Ade Kroll will unpack the ideas that Jesus’ coming was planned from the beginning of time as part of the Trinity, of Jesus as the mystical body of Christ and Cosmic Christ as part of the Universe Story.  Whether these ideas are new for you or long held, you’ll find presentations, reflection time, and conversation to nourish you on the journey to Christmas. The day will end with a showing of The Awakening Universe by Thomas Berry.

Sister Ade works with Faithful Fools in San Francisco whose mission is to support a life of presence that acknowledges each human’s incredible worth. She is a lover of cosmological ideas and supports these ideas finding their way into our consciousness. She will be joining us via Zoom.
