4 Fabulous Tours: 1 Incredible Holiday Season

The leaves are falling, there’s a nip in the air, and is that snow? Christmas comes early in Little Falls, so be sure to mark your calendars for the upcoming Christmas Tours! Starting the day after Thanksgiving and going through December 4th, 2022 you won’t want to miss out on all the holiday fun at these four amazing locations.

Rosenmeier Home Tours

Start off your holiday tours with the Burton Rosenmeier Historic House. This stunning home, known for its tourist center and self-guided tours, will be adorned in holiday cheer and readied into “The Nutcracker Suite.” While you’re enjoying the Christmas splendor, put up by the historic house’s wonderful volunteers, keep an eye out for nutcrackers. Make a guess as to how many the house has hidden and, after the tours, whoever has guessed the exact amount or is closest to it will win a gift certificate!

Linden Hill Historic Estate

After you’ve walked through the Burton Rosenmeier Historic House, you can then make your way over to the Linden Hill Historic Estate for Christmas at the Mansions either by walking through the magical snow covered grounds from the Rosenmeier Home to Linden Hill or by car where both mansions will be open this holiday season for “Just an Old-Fashioned Christmas.” Explore these two remarkable mansions and their history through self-guided tours. Bring along a pair of slippers or ask the staff for shoe covers to wear while walking through the mansions. Enjoy hot cider and cookies after and be sure to stop by Laura Jane’s Gift Shoppe for some fun holiday shopping!

You can find tickets here.

Charles Lindbergh House & Museum

When you’ve finished touring the Linden Hill Historic Estate, make your way across the Mississippi River over to the Charles Lindbergh House & Museum where you will be taken back in time to “Christmas on the Lindbergh Farm.” Celebrate the holidays of one-hundred years ago at Charles Lindbergh’s childhood home with costumed interpreters to guide you along the way.

MN Fishing Museum & Hall of Fame

And don’t miss the final stop at the Minnesota Fishing Museum & Hall of Fame where you’ll find “Christmas Tree Lane & Special Displays.” Amongst the museum and Christmas décor, there will be a silent auction. On display will be more than 100 items featuring over 75 Christmas trees, wreaths, and gift baskets. And if you come in on a weekend, you can take pictures with Santa! After you finish your tour, don’t forget to browse the O-Fish-L Gift Shop for holiday gifts.

Tickets and hours vary by site.
