Pierz Golf Course
As one of the few remaining 9-hole courses in Central Minnesota, the Pierz Golf Course at Pierz Golf Course and Campground is definitely not a track to miss. Completed in 1935 by the Works Progress Commission (WPA), this aesthetic masterpiece has been dutifully maintained for pristine playing conditions. Its layout is challenging but accessible for players of all ages and skill levels.
The two par-3 holes are the course’s heart and soul. The most memorable is the fourth, a 166-yard par three with a slow-moving stream to tempt your tee shot. The work isn’t over once you’re on the green, with devilish undulations that can leave even the best putters scratching their heads.
Once your round is finished, you can enjoy a beverage or a bite to eat at the clubhouse. Be sure to order one of the legendary burgers!
