The Latest and Greatest

Little Falls has a couple of new eating establishments that the community is enjoying! In June of 2023, Little Falls’ oldest bar changed hands. Cary Blechinger-Gorka purchased the Whiskey River Saloon, renaming it, Carys Bar. The bar underwent renovations to bring the original wooden bar back, and they now serve incredible homemade pizza and garlic bread. Every Friday night, they have Butt Bingo! Little Falls also had The Falls Theatre reopen in October 2023 and with it came Little Falls’ newest restaurant, Ciao Thyme. This unexpected, but eagerly welcomed addition to Little Falls serves wood-fired pizzas, artisan sandwiches, and Italian-American classics. It also has a full bar featuring beer, wine, and cocktails. You can even host a party in their backroom and soon you’ll be able to order food to bring in and enjoy at theatre!

There are a few restaurants in Little Falls that have been around for awhile and are favorites of residents and tourists! A. T. The Black & White is beloved by everyone who stops in and visits. Formerly a burger shop, owners, Tomas and Amanda Zimmerman, purchased A. T. The Black & White in 2006 after graduating from Le Cordon Bleu in Minneapolis and have been sharing their delicious recipes with the community ever sense! Locals and visitors love its unique dining atmosphere that is fit for both casual and formal dining.

Another great classic is Great Wall! Great Wall is a New York Style Chinese restaurant that offers a wide variety of food including soup, fried rice, chow mein, lo mein, mai fun, seafood, and so much more! Stop in and enjoy their buffets or order take out! They are open six days a week.

Residents have known this next location under a few different names such as the Red Bull Bar and Beer Belly’s, but the latest owners are familiar to many locals. In March of 2023, Will and Tiffany Threlkeld, owners of The Falls Ballroom, purchased the bar now known as the Tavern on First. They offer amazing food including burgers, wings, and weekly specials that are drool worthy! They also have a full bar and Tavern Trivia Thursdays!

If you’re looking for a night out with some friends, Little Falls has several bars to check out! The American Legion in Little Falls prides itself on having a great atmosphere for good friends. Here you can enjoy amazing food, a full bar, live performances, and bingo! Across the street, you’ll find The Falls Bar. This is another wonderful location to gather with family or friends to enjoy drinks! This bar has awesome staff and off-sale liquor available as well. The Rustic Saloon offers just as much fun with a full bar and e-tabs!

Johnny C’s Sports Bar is the perfect place to gather with friends to watch sports games or virtual racing, take part in the meat raffles, and, of course, enjoy food and drinks. Their menu is extensive with lots of mouth watering choices like wings, pizza, burgers and more! And while you wait for your food to come out, you can get drinks and grab some popcorn!
